Who runs this site
theoptimizepodcast.com is operated by Leverage Technologies Inc. (“Leverage,” “we”), which produces The Optimize Podcast with Jay Abraham. This policy covers this website only. Leverage's other sites are covered by the Leverage Privacy Policy.
What is collected
- Server records. Our host, Vercel, records requests: IP address, browser user agent, the page requested and a timestamp. They keep the site running and help investigate abuse.
- How the site is used. Pages viewed, clicks on the “Apply” buttons and on the Spotify and Apple Podcasts links, and how quickly pages load. This comes from the analytics tools below.
- Your guest application. The form on the Apply page is hosted by Asana and embedded here. What you type goes directly to Asana, not to this website, and is used only to review your application.
Cookies and analytics
Vercel Web Analytics counts page views and clicks without cookies and without identifying you. Vercel Speed Insights measures page speed, also without cookies. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (_ga) and sends page views and the clicks above to Google.
HubSpot sets first-party cookies (hubspotutk, __hstc and __hssc) and records which pages you view. If HubSpot already knows who you are, for example because you clicked a link in an email sent through it, those page views are added to what it holds about you. The same HubSpot account is used on getleverage.com, nicksonnenberg.com and comeupforair.com, so following a link between those sites can connect the visits.
Episode players are embedded from Spotify. When a page with a player loads, Spotify receives your request and may set its own cookies under the Spotify Privacy Policy.
None of this is used for advertising, and the site loads no advertising script. Any content blocker, or Google's opt-out browser add-on, stops Google Analytics and HubSpot. Typefaces are built into the site rather than fetched from a font service while you read.
Who else sees it
- Vercel hosts the site and runs Web Analytics and Speed Insights.
- Google receives Google Analytics data.
- HubSpot receives the page-view data described above.
- Asana receives guest applications.
- Spotify serves the embedded episode players.
Nothing collected here is sold, or shared for cross-context behavioural advertising.
